Your man cave is a place that you get to call your own. It is a reflection of who you are as a man, and as such, it should be completely unique. We can provide you with a good foundation for your man cave, but then it’s your job to continue decorating it even further. Over time, you will have an amazing den all your friends are jealous of.
Here are some simple but creative ways to decorate a man cave.
Use Old Wood Or Metal
If you know of someone who is tearing down an old barn, shed, or horse stall, give them a call to see if you can use some of the materials in your man cave. For instance, old metal siding can make for a really neat texture on the outside of a bar. You can use distressed wood to create shelves and furniture for the man cave. You can even use the old doors from an abandoned building to create rustic art on the walls. Repurpose the materials around you and make them look new again.
Paint A Mural On The Walls
You don’t have to be an artist to paint a mural. You just have to paint the right kind of mural so that your minimal artistic skills aren’t noticeable. The easiest way to do this is to paint the silhouettes of something you like, like a baseball player up to bat or the skyline of your favorite city. Get an overhead projector, and put whatever image you want on the wall onto a clear slide. Then you can use the projector to enlarge the image and give you something to trace on the wall. After that, all you have to do is fill in what you traced with dark paint.
Use Beer Bottles To Decorate
You can use beer bottles in many different ways in a man cave. Fill them with Christmas lights and hang them from the ceiling to get new lighting in the room. Break them up and sprinkle them into your concrete flooring while it dries. Use them as legs for a display case or lightweight end table. The options are endless.
Try to think outside the box when you start decorating your man cave, and you will be able to enjoy the space even more than you did before.
